British wool special: in this issue we’ve gone right back to the fields and focused on British yarns from individual flocks, where, like a fine Burgundy wine, you can trace your yarn right back to the field where it was grown.
If you’re a UK reader, you may find a farm-to-yarn wool from your area, and you can learn more about the qualities of British wools from the Woolist, Zoe Fletcher. And we haven’t forgotten about the designs, which include a range of British wools in colours to get you ready for the peak autumn knitting season – and are photographed in the beautiful British countryside.
How are the issues dated? I catalog for a library and am working on verifying our magazine list. I have the issue numbers notated when we receive them, but am not sure if the dates I have coincide with the actual publication date of each issue. Can you provide this information, please? I am looking at the issue from 2025, beginning with Issue 257 through issue 263.
