Creative makes: we’re stepping off the beaten track and exploring unusual ways to construct our knits – and different ways to wear classic shapes. Knit from the centre out with Bronagh Miskelly’s vintage-style cardigan Marianne and her shrug Viola, which is knitted in the round and shaped using short rows. Create a stunning garment from a simple shape with Jacinta Bowie’s beautiful lacy Leafy Shrug, and knit a jumper and skirt co-ord in the round with Sanna Mård Kastmann’s Ylva-Li set.
We’re also welcoming a brand new columnist in this issue – broadcaster, author, designer, teacher and entrepreneur Vickie Howell. She will be giving us a Snapshot from the States, looking at the top trends, designers, makes and more from the vibrant crafting community across the Pond.
