I am an experienced knitter but one thing I’ve shied away from is knitting socks then one day I was inspired to havie a go by my friend Jane who comes to our Thursday Knit and Natter group, she’s an absolutely brilliant sock knitter, makes it look so easy whether knitting with three pins, circular needle, or a difficult pattern.
Jane started me off with an easy sock pattern all went well that was until Covid hit us all like a sledge hammer everything came to a standstill our K&N has been mothballed. Then one of the articles in the Knitting magazine was about SOCK DRAWER BOOK, this book not only provides 20 original sock designs alongside handy techniques they also have a podcast I am hoping that if I am lucky enough to receive one of the books I’ll pick one of the sock designs and knit one of my daughters a pair of socks.
